Step-by-step setup
Set up your Pogozo API key
Follow these steps to create your Pogozo API key and connect it to Refr. Takes about two minutes. If you’re not your clinic’s Pogozo admin, creating API keys may be switched off for you. Ask your admin, or book a demo and we’ll help.

Open your integration settings
- In Pogozo, click "Settings" in the left menu.
- Click the "Integrations" tab.
Start a new API key
- Make sure "API Key" is selected, then click "Create API key".
Choose Refr and name the key
- Under "Partner", choose "Refr".
- Type "Refr Personal Key" into "Label" (or any name you prefer).
- Leave "Never expires" on, then click "Create key".
Copy your API key
- Click "Copy key". Pogozo only shows the key once.
- Treat this API key like your password, then click "Done".
Paste your API key into Refr
- In Refr, click "Integrations" in the sidebar, then choose Pogozo.
- Click "Set up", paste your API key and click "Save".
- That’s it: patient details now pre-fill when you look up a patient in a referral.
